Here is the proof and the warning.
Arctic life-threatening winter weather in North America and especially right down over WNY is accelerating. This was predicted and repeatedly published by international Atmospheric and Environmental Research scientists. I continue to follow this Arctic weather literature and changing patterns having been ordered to operationally serve in the High Arctic, North Pole region, explained below.
These past three months, May-July, 2023 there were published international weather studies that reproducibly confirmed this unprecedented extremely strong El Nino is causing the Jet Stream to be descend right down over WNY, now, all summer. In addition, as reported this past week with El Nino becoming even stronger, the Jet Stream is now predicted to continue descending over WNY all winter 2023-2024.
Arctic weather, emergency preparedness and disaster care for all emergencies remains my specialty and passion based on overseas service (e.g., sustained losses of electricity, heat, food, and water, plus limited medical and surgical care).
I am a former U.S. Navy operational Medical Officer (M.D., Commander, Medical Corps). I hold a Ph.D. with distinction in Cold Weather Medicine and Diving Environmental Physiology. I was nominated as the U.S. Navy’s Technical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert (TA and SME) in Arctic Cold Weather Medicine and Arctic surface and diving operations. I served on top and diving under the High Arctic Icepack of the North Pole region (Research Diving Medical Officer, Navy Experimental Diving Unit).

We are not out of the woods. Lake Erie will warm up extensively all this summer and into the fall. Plus, the Arctic super-cold airmass that was wobbling last year has now dropped down over WNY due to extreme El Nino weather forces affecting the West.
I am happy to share what I have learned and published having served alongside many others who were dedicated to medically and personally caring for people during extended blizzards and extreme Arctic cold. This included me working with Arctic-trained and highly-experienced military personnel in our U.S. Navy and serving alongside Canadian Forces, the Royal British Navy and the Royal Danish Navy.
In the Arctic, I cared for over 150 emergency medical and surgical patients, out-of-the-hospital, using the new U.S. Navy Portable ER I developed and Tested & Evaluated.

This is not “thinking outside any such box.” This is what is done by civilians overseas during severe winter storms in cities of northern countries and by their militaries. CHICAGO (Reuters) – Millions of pounds of beef, pork and chicken will vanish from U.S. grocery stores as livestock and poultry processing plants have been shuttered by coronavirus outbreaks among workers, the chairman of Tyson Foods Inc said.
John Tyson warned that the U.S. “food supply chain is breaking” as a growing number of plant closures have left farmers with fewer options to market and process livestock.
Tyson Foods announced last week that it would shutter two pork processing plants, including its largest in the United States, and a beef facility to contain the spread of the virus.
Other major meat processors like JBS USA [JBS.UL] and Smithfield Foods have closed facilities in recent weeks as cases of COVID-19, the potentially lethal respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus, have soared among plant workers.
More than 5,000 U.S. meat and food-processing workers have been infected with or exposed to the virus, and 13 have died, the country’s largest meatpacking union said Thursday...

We were just warned: "Several High-Impact Lake Effect Snow Storms" (Weather Network, NOAA, NWS, others) are coming starting the second and third week of December, and will not let up.
The plunge of Arctic Air (Polar Vortex, Arctic Oscillation-AO) over our WNY area's very warm Great Lakes (Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and even sweeping down from Ontario's Lake Huron) will create "several high-impact Lake-Effect snow storms that may last for days".
Complete all home and car winter preparations this week. Plus, check on your neighbors and offer your help, especially the elderly, disabled and anyone with little family or financial support.
If interested in our upcoming WNY Winter weather warning, international meteorologists and scientific organizations have already been publishing their worldwide Winter warnings, which are now coming true:
- Exceptionally early, high Snow-Pack already formed from early storms this past Autumn throughout Siberia
- Early, heavy snow storms in the Canadian and U.S. Rocky Mountains now going across Canada and the upper Midwest of the U.S.
- Extreme Cold and Snow predicted in the UK, starting the second and third week of December, and will not let up. The UK government warned the public there may be an increase in the UK death rate 40,000 more people especially the elderly and those weakened with lung and heart diseases or lack of adequate warmth at home because of this Extreme Cold and Snow.

3. “Equipping for Disasters. Sheltering at Home” for families and businesses. Using the Fourth Revised 2016 Edition of the “Textbook of Equipping for Disasters. Sheltering at Home”, one-to-four families and businesses have become fully equipped and most-confident with their CONFIDENTIAL, faced-paced, hands-on Skill Stations in just 90-minutes for the Basic Course. Everyone has had so much fun practicing together how to be fully equipped with:
- inexpensively purchased and wisely stored long-term using double-freezer bags evacuating air from the bags. Course attendees practice building their own simulated Food Pantry System with a proven labeling system placed on see-through bins to then be stored on five-level shelving units. This Food Pantry System has been fully Tested and Evaluated. It is published in the Course attendee’s Chapter Five of their copy of the “Textbook of Equipping for Disasters”.
- Water, reliably treated at-home to be safe-to-drink. Course attendees will gain confidence using proven methods of water collection and purification including filtration using a laboratory-tested portable water filters, plus how to safely use simulated house-hold bleach (simulated regular and high-concentration Clorox) or use granulated chlorine for pools, to purify, transfer and long-term store large volumes of purified, safe-to-drink (potable) water taken from outdoor sources including a pond or stream. Attendees will practice how to easily remove any residual chlorine prior to drinking their purified water.
- Home or Shelter that is safe, secure and warm with safe heat, plus safe long-term daily use of home-generators, with gasoline properly preserved, safely stored and used. Course attendees will use a proven worksheet to select the smallest possible, least expensive, and most efficient home generator adding up the running and start-up (surge) Watts for only essential items at home (e.g. furnace blower, refrigerator/freezer, sump pump, key lights, washer, kitchen outlets, etc.). Attendees will correctly use simulated proven gasoline additives to preserve gasoline for over two-years, and they will be taught how to mark and safely store plastic gas cans and rotate them to keep gas fresh. Attendees will be taught the tips and how to avoid common mistakes of safely refueling a home gasoline generator using a gasoline-funnel and gasoline-approved hose for refueling at night, in the rain, using a headlamp.
- Clothing that would be shared or given to “those in greater need” during a disaster or in time of need (e.g. hats, clothing, coats, gloves, shoes/boots, baby clothing, and diapers).
- Medicine and Surgery to “care for those in greater need” during a disaster who are sick or injured.
- Visitation to safely travel using preserved gasoline to “care for those in greater need” often imprisoned at-home alone, unprepared, with little family to help during a disaster
In both the 90-minute, hands-on, Basic Course,“Equipping for Disasters. Sheltering at Home” and the follow-up two-hour Advanced Course “Equipping for Disasters. Sheltering at Home”, every household practices how to wisely set up a Disaster Plan for families and neighbors caring for each other, especially “caring for those in greater need” right in their own neighborhood. This is how it’s done overseas, each day, during and recovering from all disasters.

Compared to the first half of 2015, the first half of 2016 has brought in +43% more insurance money and tax-deductible donations to Saved by Grace Ministry, Inc. for all our Emergency Physician House Calls™.
All medical insurances, Medicare and Medicaid are very pleased with our cost-savings and clinical outcomes sent to them on our by our Emergency Physician House Calls™ from:
1. Our published research article on Advanced Medical and Surgical Wound Care, at-home, and
2. Our on-going clinical study on Medical Care Requiring Portable Labs, at-home.
